My Mama tells me story of her Aunt Rushie, she was a wort witch for the small town they were from. My Mama said she went to her when her hands and feet broke out in worts and she made Mama cut a piece of string and then the Aunt would tie a knot and touch it to a wort and when she was done told her to bury it in the yard and my Mama said they all went away except for one on her pinky, which she still has today. Interesting story, even more interesting family.
