Made an $88,000 mistake on a job once. Did not get fired. The CEO was absolutely understanding and lovely about it. Left his office and immediately threw up because I think I would have felt better if he'd been angry or fired me or something. Instead, he got me more training because he said he understood how very intelligent I am 🙄 and that sometimes people just make human mistakes. He doubled my salary the following year, but trust me, I did work my hind end off for that. I still work there🖤
